Chris Brown launches Dum English toy
Chris Brown has plenty of side projects to keep him busy while he’s waiting to release his new album, Fortune, this summer. One of those projects is a collaboration between his Mechanical Dummy entity and street artist Ron English on a line of collectible toys and art sculptures, called Dum English. Breezy launched the line with an autograph signing at TAG toy store in Hollywood May 2nd. That event was followed by a VIP art exhibit at Corey Helford Gallery, which showcased some of Breezy’s paintings and joined English for a live painting session, customizing a Dum English Skull Astronaut sculpture.
“Chris is one of the sweetest, most talented people I’ve ever met,” English said in a statement ahead of the launch. “Working with Chris is like being a kid in a candy store. The ideas we come with are fun and colorful, young and daring.”
